If your favorite past time in Epcot is to stroll around sampling the cuisine and admiring the visual spectacle, you’re in luck: there’s a brand-new festival this year.
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts takes place Fridays through Mondays from January 13 through February 20, 2017. The schedule is packed with hands-on art activities, performance art, Disney on Broadway-style performances, and artful food and drink.
Food booths are dotted along World Showcase, in a similar style as Epcot’s other, more established festivals like the Flower & Garden and the Food & Wine Festivals. The Wild Mushroom Risotto and the Sidecar with a Chocolate Twist were standouts, found near the Canada pavilion.
Unique festival merchandise, along with art exhibits, classes, seminars, and more food & drink can be found at Odyssey (on the waterway walkway between Mexico and Test Track).
Along with artist appearances, performance art and interactive exhibits are scattered around Epcot. Pictured below is one of the Living Statues which comes to life when guests approach.
